|Recommended: YesOnly two things I wish could change — I love living here so far Good location and nice building. The only two things that bother me is the smell in the main lobby is WAY too overwhelming. Like it kind of makes me sick sometimes. And lastly, the design of the dog park is more concrete than grass. I mean it looks artistic but it’s not useful and efficient to me. Other than that - it’s nice here.

|Recommended: YesAMAZING STAFF SUPPORT — I moved into the Artistry this past August. I have had a few maintenance issues and reached out to the Jen H. Every time she has been super helpful and followed up and gotten things taken care of. And both of the guys I have dealt with, Ashley and Michael, have been SUCH nice people and SO kind.

|Recommended: YesSuper friendly, clean, convenient, modern, and fun — There's a lot of natural lighting, and the view is nice from my balcony. I love how tall the ceilings are and the spacing of the entire layout. The place makes me happy to come home to. Neighbors are friendly and always willing to help. I feel the area is pretty safe and secure. My pup loves the area and place is super pet friendly. I live right by the elevator and still noise level is very minimal.

|Recommended: YesSolid downtown apartment complex. — Right in the action of downtown No complaints, and the residents have been very friendly as well as the staff. There is plenty to do around the complex.

|Recommended: YesA nice place to live with a few oddities — I have been living her for 2 and half years. Overall I think things are good. Here are some observations I have made
NOT SO GOOD
- Since COVID-19, I have not gotten any communication from the office about anything. I see signs in the elevator and such but I wish they would send out a newsletter or email with updates. I don't really leave my apartment too much anymore so sometimes I am taken by surprise by building maintenance.
- My outside door code changed and no one told me. So this was aggravating when food delivery folks couldn't use my old code. I finally figured it out on my own.
- New trash service - I don't remember being asked if I wanted this or any sort of polling of residents. I don't see very many residents using it. I don't plan on using it and we still have to pay 25 a month for it. I wish they would have made it optional or had a better solution on how to collect recyclables besides having us put them in a clear plastic bag which to me defeats the purpose of being green as I don't use plastic bags . I sent an email to the office with my concern but did not hear back.
- Dogs gone wild. I really don't mind but there are residents who let their large dogs off their leash in the hallways and they bark repeatedly and I even had two German shepards push their way into my apartment when I was trying to leave my apartment. They were friendly but very hyperactive and I was scared they would hurt themselves and also damage my property. Also I have had dogs repeatedly take dumps in front of my apartment but that may have just been one dog and I can smell urine in the elevator at times.
- My kitchen cabinets are cheap. Glad I had them note where they were chipped when I moved in. I wish they would have spent a bit more money and bought more quality cabinets. It's a shame because the rest of my apartment is beautiful
THE GOOD
- Maintenance is very prompt and courteous. Outstanding
- They just replaced the carpet I am assuming partially due to the pet stains in the hallways and repainted the walls.
- Packages I am sure can be a challenge to manage here so kudos to whomever is organizing them I have only had one package go missing in the entire time I have lived here
- Overall the residents are very friendly
- It is a nice place to live. I am in my 40s but I think ideally, this is a place more for those who are in their late 20s and 30s.
|Recommended: YesAffordable — Really nice grounds and comparable to the more expensive downtown places but at a better price.

|Recommended: NoHORRIBLE LEASING OFFICE — The location is the only good thing about it.
The leasing staff is beyond incompetent when it comes to basic needs such as the 5 times that my roommates' key fobs stopped working and were locked out of the apartment on multiple occasions -- they refused to believe us that it wasn't a battery issue and would wait hours before fixing the issue.
Extremely unprofessional and rude on multiple occasions, including in the middle of Covid-19 when office staff locked the doors from the inside and would sit there having long conversations with coworkers before helping residents with issues. On my move-out day an artistry employee called me a bitch as I walked by.
Even leaving my keys after my lease ended was a fiasco and they turned away one of my roommates from dropping them off individually which is allowed especially in the middle of a pandemic when none of us were able to meet up.
-1 10 would never recommend to a friend.
Sarah - Jen here, I am not sure we ever had the chance to meet, but I am saddened by your experience. At Artistry I strive to provide the best in customer service, responsiveness and courtesy to everyone, so may I first apologize if you feel you were truly treated in any other way. As you know, with technology and electronics, at times they can give us some trouble - I will review your service tickets and see how we can improve on this moving forward. If you get time, I would love some more information on your Move-Out experience, as that does not sound like my team at all, and I would like to make sure that I am addressing this issue correctly and thoroughly. I absolutely understand how difficult it was when we were under appointment only directives during the initial COVID-19 weeks/months - we were also so happy when we could open our doors again, thank you for having patience with us during that time! Again, please reach out if you are able and I do apologize that you had anything other than a great experience here at Artistry! Take Care, Jen
|Recommended: YesGreat Place — The apartment is at a great location. Has Starbucks and Whole Foods right across the street. The Zoo is only a 38 minute walk. The canal is only 1 mile away. Downtown Indy is much like other city's just have to watch your surroundings and you will be fine.
